One of the Kathmandu Ring Road Improvement Projects in the Capital is to revamp Kalanki—a busiest junction in Kathmandu—with the construction of the country’s first under-pass road. The construction of the four-lane 800 metre long underground road has already begun and was expected to complete in two years when the project was first launched in December 2016.
